How many of you have done a podcast before? How many have watched a podcast before? What do you think are the most popular podcasts? TV Shows? Music Videos? Religious Sermons? Comedy Routines? Podcasts are really neat!

  1. I developed a lesson plan to use a podcast in my American history class. The class created and performed a radio program from the 1920's including news, current events, sports, and politics. It was a total hit. The students really got into the broadcasts and really acted out the parts. It also got them to realize how technology has changed over the last century...from broadcast to podcast.

  2. I think podcasts are really neat. There are even radio-like podcasts for teachers to listen to. I think it's really neat that a teacher can record his or her lesson onto a podcast so students can use their i-pods to access information at their convenience, especially if they were absent. It could be especially useful in high school and college courses.

  4. There are a lot of French language podcasts... every language probably. Definitely a great tool for learning a second language.
